Many congratulations to Dr Oliver Rider, who has been awarded a BHF Intermediate Clinical Research Fellowship (£789K over 4 years), following on from 2 years as an Oxford BHF CRE Transition Research Fellow. Oliver will carry out his research “Comparing the effects of bariatric surgery on the cardiovascular system” in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine.  Oliver will continue to develop his research programme at the Oxford Centre for Clinical Magnetic Resonance Research with this very prestigious and highly competitive fellowship.
