This was awarded on 21/02/2017 for production of a cardiac-specific TRIC-A knockout mouse. Dr Ben Davies (NDM, Oxford) is currently still working on producing this model and we have therefore only spent a proportion of the award. We predict that we will be able to obtain basic characterization of cardiac function of this mouse model by the autumn when we will submit a revised version of a BHF project grant application to the BHF to investigate TRIC-A channel function and cardiac role
