Many congratulations to Professor Reilly, who won the award at the British Cardiovascular Society conference on Tuesday 8th June 2021.

Professor Reilly said "I am hugely honoured to receive this Award from my peers. It is incredibly gratifying and I am so thankful to my colleagues at the British Heart Foundation for this special recognition."

Professor Reilly was awarded an Associate Professorship in Cardiovascular Medicine last year,  and her stand-out recent work includes a Nature paper demonstrating that a hormone that helps helps regulate bone mass is also produced by the heart, and could help treat people with a dangerous heart rhythm disorder.
