- establish non-integrating methods for combined transcription factor and small molecule-directed stem cell differentiation;
- exploit human ES and iPS cells, via the establishment of genetic cardiovascular reporter lines, as tools for the identification of key molecular mediators of cardiovascular stem cell fate and maturation and cardiovascular disease;
- establish non-disruptive genetic engineering tools for direct cell programming.
