  • Awards: Infrastructure Awards

The Infrastructure grant from the BHF CRE allowed us to fund the development of a new 10-channel carotid coil (MRI hardware) that was designed and built by Pulseteq Ltd. according to our specifications. The new coil improves carotid image quality and sensitivity for the quantification of plaque components, in particular for the measurement of lipid core size using our methods based on T2 mapping.
