  • elucidate mechanisms regulating cardiovascular progenitor fate determination, homeostasis and recruitment after cardiac injury;
  • enlist human developmental biology resource (HDBR) for characterising cardiovascular progenitors from human foetal tissue;
  • compare the transcriptional networks and epigenetic status of embryonic heart progenitors during cardiogenesis with activated adult progenitors to underpin reactivation and repair.
