Establishing a cellular model to investigate Filamin C-related cardiomyopathy

As part of this award we have established the usage of genome-edited induced pluripotent stem cell cardiomyocytes to model cardiomyopathies in vitro. This will help us to understand disease mechanisms better and also reduce the usage of animal models in our research.
