The aim of the project, as part of a new program of target and therapeutic discovery was to develop biosensors to discover new therapeutics using high-throughput screens. While we were unable to develop an energy biosensor with sufficient Z'factor suitable for high-throughput screens, we were able to develop using the biosensor technology a eNOS dimerisation split renilla lucifrease biosensor, that has since been applied to studies of eNOS biology.
