Analytical Chemistry Facility for the Study of Cardiovascular Function

This award enables the set-up of an analytical chemistry facility. The aim of the facility is to streamline the measurement of physiological markers of cardiovascular function and other relevant metabolites in a wide range of biological matrices including blood, urine, cell supernatants and cell lysates. This type of studies enables researchers to detect markers of disease, to follow disease progression, and to understand how it responds to experimental therapies.
