Professor Charalambos Antoniades has been awarded a British Heart Foundation Chair of Cardiovascular Medicine. The award includes over £1.2 million pounds in research funding over five years.

Professor Stefan Neubauer, who heads the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine within RDM, said "This is a great testimony to the world-class research work Charis has done in our Division for many years. He joins the Division’s other BHF Professors Hugh Watkins, Keith Channon, Barbara Casadei and Shoumo Bhattacharya."
