Business Models and Intellectual Property (IP) half-day workshop - 6th March 2026

We are delighted to invite you to the British Heart Foundation Oxford Centre of Research Excellence (BHF Oxford CRE) CIA Business Models and Intellectual Property (IP) Workshop—an interactive event open to all cardiovascular researchers interested in the translation or commercialisation of their work.

Led by experienced experts in entrepreneurship, this workshop is the first in our series of four half-day workshops and will introduce the range of business models available to researchers, including spin-outs and licensing pathways. It will also provide a clear overview of the forms of intellectual property (IP) protection commonly used to secure and maximise the impact of innovative research, and how these choices align with broader commercial strategy.

Whether you are curious about commercialisation, actively developing an idea, or supporting others in translational research, this session will offer valuable insights and practical guidance.
